Vireon Foundation Inc. evaluates the effectiveness of its charitable programs through practical, proportionate methods suited to a community-based organisation. We focus on understanding whether participants are gaining skills, connection and access to support — and we use what we learn to improve our programs over time.
We record attendance, completion of training modules or activities, and ongoing participation where programs run over multiple sessions.
We gather informal and structured feedback from participants, volunteers and community partners to understand whether programs are meeting intended needs.
For employment and hospitality programs, we observe practical skill development, workplace readiness and self-reported confidence through training milestones.
Where participants choose to share updates, we note movement into volunteering, further training, work experience or employment — understanding that outcomes vary by individual circumstances.
For food security activities, we track meals or food items distributed, community meal attendance and partnerships with food relief organisations such as OzHarvest.
We monitor volunteer involvement in program delivery, community events and food relief activities as an indicator of community participation and organisational capacity.
We assess whether events and inclusion activities are bringing people together across age, culture and background — particularly for seniors and CALD community members.
Outcomes measurement is reviewed periodically by our leadership and volunteers. Findings inform program design, partnerships and resource allocation. As the Foundation grows, we aim to strengthen our evaluation practices while keeping them practical and community-focused.
We report outcomes honestly and do not publish statistics unless they can be supported by our records. Aggregate figures may be shared in annual reporting as our evaluation processes develop.
